ExxonMobil is seeking qualified and experienced individuals to provide Wells Engineering technical expertise for its oil and gas development projects. As a Wells Engineer, you will collaborate with a multi-functional team to design, plan, and execute all wellwork operations in compliance with internal and external standards. Your work will encompass drilling, completions, and well management, including drillouts, remedial workovers, and plug and abandonment activities.
You will play a pivotal role in developing operational programs, optimizing wellwork designs for multi-well programs, and providing advanced technical support to improve well designs and operational plans. This role involves comprehensive risk management, mentoring less experienced engineers, and performing modeling and analyses to support effective execution. You will also steward well cost lifecycles, support procurement activities, and manage multiple contractor interfaces to ensure timely delivery of equipment and services.
Business needs and your specific areas of expertise will drive your placement on a specific Wells team, whether an asset team or a specific discipline.
