The Experienced Line Cook is a pivotal member of the Segra Club culinary team, reporting directly to the Sous Chef. This high-profile position supports the full spectrum of the culinary experience, ranging from game day operations in the club kitchen to catering and special events. The role is designed for an individual who exercises sound judgment and problem-solving skills to ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Aligned with the Charleston RiverDogs' mission to "Make Fun," this role is dedicated to creating a "Fun is Good" environment within the kitchen. The Line Cook is expected to bring high energy and passion throughout service hours, leading staff through various service types including a la carte and buffets while maintaining a spotless, organized, and safe workspace.
Applicants must be available to work both day and night shifts, including weekends. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to work at a rapid, high-paced rate and handle physical demands, including lifting 50+ pounds and standing for long periods.
