About the Role
The Executive Chef serves as a pivotal member of the Hotel Executive Team, leading the Culinary Team to meet and exceed food quality standards and guest scores while operating within annual budget guidelines. The mission is to cultivate a culture of "Culinary Excellence," aligning with the PHR Missions of being recognized as an Industry Leader and exceeding every guest's expectations every time.
In this role, you will demonstrate leadership by managing subordinate Managers, Chefs, and Line Level Staff. You will be present during high-volume meal periods, VIP events, and large sponsored gatherings, taking on daily floor management responsibilities as assigned. The position requires a proactive approach to driving guest satisfaction, conducting root cause analysis on service gaps, and ensuring the seamless execution of the Front of House Operating Plan.

Candidates will be evaluated based on their demonstrated knowledge of current restaurant industry trends, culinary creativity, and leadership capabilities. The selection process includes a review of qualifications, including a minimum of seven years of experience in an executive kitchen position and a background in Forbes 4-Diamond experiences. Interviews will assess proficiency in operational management, financial reporting, and adherence to food sanitation regulations.
