Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Executive Chef to lead culinary operations at Ingleside at Rock Creek in Washington, DC. This culturally rich, not-for-profit Life Plan Community offers an engaged lifestyle with exceptional amenities, located steps from the beautiful Rock Creek Park.
In this role, you will lead a culinary team of approximately 20 professionals, overseeing food production, quality assurance, safety, and service across multiple dining venues. The ideal candidate is a culinary innovator and relationship builder who thrives in a high-end environment, enjoys engaging with residents, and balances operational excellence with personal connection. Many residents are former government officials, world travelers, and highly engaged community members, requiring a chef who is visible, approachable, and responsive to feedback. The typical shift is 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Sunday through Thursday.
