Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 3 to lead culinary operations at Stamford Hospital in Stamford, CT. This is a high-impact leadership role designed for an experienced culinary professional passionate about innovation, quality, and the patient experience. In this position, you will direct all culinary operations, setting standards for quality, taste, and presentation. Your day will involve coaching and developing culinary staff, ensuring consistent execution of recipes, and introducing new concepts and menus to meet evolving customer preferences. You will maintain a strong on-floor presence in cafés and patient service areas, engaging guests and soliciting feedback to drive service improvements. Additionally, you will partner with Patient Services to enhance patient satisfaction through culinary excellence and collaborate with hospital leadership and clinical stakeholders to uphold Sodexo and client standards.
The role requires flexibility to adapt to operational needs, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays. You will lead effectively in a union environment, building positive relationships and maintaining open, solution-oriented communication while advancing sustainability practices like farm-to-fork and waste-reduction initiatives.
