About the Role
Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 to lead culinary operations for a school district in Rolla, Missouri. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the district's food quality and training initiatives. You will serve as a key partner in menu development, ensuring compliance with Sodexo and USDA culinary standards while managing complex food production cycles.
Your day-to-day involves overseeing the PrimeroEdge food management system across multiple units, managing inventory and purchasing, and ensuring strict adherence to food safety and sanitation protocols. Beyond the kitchen, you will play a vital leadership role by motivating, coaching, and mentoring frontline staff, fostering a culture of innovation and culinary excellence. You will also oversee catering functions for the Waco ISD and neighboring K-12 accounts, delivering stellar customer service to students, staff, and families.
