About the Role
The Retail Events Lead Associate serves as a vital link between the Events Manager and the Duck Store team, ensuring the seamless execution of remote event activities. This full-time position is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments, providing exceptional customer service and leadership to team members across various locations.
As a Lead Associate, you will be the face of the brand at off-site events, guiding staff through daily tasks and customer service techniques. Your day will involve setting up and tearing down event merchandise and infrastructure, executing merchandising plans, and managing inventory records with precision. You will work closely with all Duck Store locations to support sales projections and meet event demand, while also handling register transactions, opening and closing locations, and contributing to team performance evaluations.
Schedule and Commitment
This is a full-time hourly position requiring a flexible commitment of 35 to 40 hours per week. The schedule varies weekly based on the event calendar and season, often including evening, late-night, and weekend shifts. Occasional holiday work is required, and the role may involve working at a variety of locations. Success in this role requires the ability to cover added shifts as needed to support event dates.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive wage of $20 per hour.
