The Sales Manager, Venues serves as a strategic guide for customers navigating complex event experiences. In this role, you will identify solutions that align with client goals, ensuring a compelling event outcome while maximizing revenue capture for the assigned customer base. You will act as the bridge between the client's vision and Encore's capabilities, utilizing a proactive, consultative sales approach to secure business and drive results.
This position is vital for cultivating strong relationships with key hotel personnel and internal supporting functions. By understanding customer history and leveraging the Encore network, you will create personalized experiences that foster long-term loyalty. You will support company initiatives and core values, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to world-class service and accountability.
Your work will take you into the dynamic environment of hotels and convention centers. You will collaborate closely with vendors and cross-functional teams to service events, often attending site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support the customer experience. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to preparing and presenting quotes and proposals, ensuring they are timely and accurate.
You will maintain a healthy sales pipeline and ensure all opportunities are accurately tracked in our CRM system. This involves staying current with new product offerings, emerging technologies in the meetings and events space, and adhering to established sales methodologies. While the role is primarily office and meeting-based, you must be prepared for irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet the demands of the event industry.
