The Banquet Event Captain serves as the primary liaison between the Conference Center and its clients, ensuring seamless execution of events from the finalization of the sales contract through to post-event evaluation. Working directly with the Banquet Operations Manager, Sales Team, and external vendors, this role orchestrates all aspects of room setup, audiovisual operations, and food & beverage services to uphold CCAE standards and deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.
As a key member of the team, you will manage the flow of information and logistics for events of varying scales. Your day involves coordinating with clients to address last-minute changes, supervising banquet staff and bartenders during service, and maintaining rigorous standards for safety, sanitation, and equipment handling. Whether managing indoor or outdoor settings under varied weather conditions, you will ensure that every detail aligns with the client's vision and the organization's operational goals.
