The Milwaukee Bucks strive to be the best sports and entertainment company in the world. We are looking for dedicated people who champion innovation, inspire and empower their teammates to perform at a world-class level, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Our team operates within the Deer District, managing a dynamic portfolio of venues and experiences that serve millions of fans and corporate partners.
As an Event Sales Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Event Sales and serve as a key driver in maximizing revenue for our Deer District venues. This role is more than just selling space; it involves a focused approach to content development, strategic relationship building, and the end-to-end management of event bookings. You will be the face of the Bucks in the community, utilizing a mix of cold calling, virtual meetings, and face-to-face networking to identify and secure new business opportunities.
In this position, you will navigate a fast-paced environment where adaptability is key. Your day will involve conducting market research to enhance event experiences, coordinating with internal departments like F&B, Ticketing, and Marketing, and collaborating with arena operations to maximize facility utility. You will also work closely with sponsorship teams to execute curated events that align with brand goals. Success in this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and a deep understanding of the local corporate and social event landscape in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
