The Event Manager serves as the operational heartbeat of our banquet operations, responsible for the seamless planning, coordination, and flawless execution of all events. From the moment an event is handed off by the Sales team, you own the entire lifecycle, ensuring every detail—from room setup and seating plans to staffing and menu arrangements—is delivered to standard, on time, and in alignment with guest expectations.
This position is a vital bridge between our Sales, Culinary, and Restaurant Leadership teams. You will partner closely with these groups to craft an exceptional guest experience, transforming event concepts into reality through meticulous logistics and on-site leadership.
Your day begins with a deep dive into event contracts, BEOs, and notes to ensure accuracy and completeness. You will craft precise timelines, layouts, and seating charts while coordinating complex menu selections and dietary requirements. As the primary on-site contact, you will lead day-of execution, ensuring events launch on time and run smoothly according to plan.
Beyond the event floor, you will drive operational excellence by developing and enforcing standard operating procedures. This includes hiring, training, and coaching banquet teams to uphold our service standards, managing inventory for linens and A/V equipment, and collaborating with the culinary team on food flow and timing. You will also monitor banquet profitability through labor and food cost control, reviewing performance metrics to continuously improve the guest experience.
Candidates selected for an interview will undergo a multi-stage process designed to assess both operational expertise and cultural fit:
We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where every team member can thrive. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status. Our banquet teams are the face of our hospitality, and we value individuals who bring strong organizational skills, a passion for guest service, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, flexible schedule environment.
