The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a pivotal role in maintaining the operational efficiency and high standards of the hotel. This position is responsible for the cleaning and preparation of all hotel areas, including guest rooms, front and back of house, public spaces, and the laundry facility. The Supervisor acts as the key leader in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, managing daily staff operations, conducting inspections, and ensuring all guest requests are met with urgency and hospitality.
In this role, you will lead by example. You are expected to pitch in and clean guest rooms and public spaces on days you are not covering executive duties, ensuring that every area—from public restrooms to the pool—remains pristine. Your day involves conducting daily stand-up meetings to review objectives, overseeing the team's adherence to checklists, and managing VIP guests and special requests. You will also handle inventory, coordinate with the Engineering department for maintenance, and ensure strict compliance with safety and chemical handling standards. Above all, you will greet every guest with a smile, ensuring they feel properly welcomed and valued throughout their stay.
