We are seeking an Equipment Operator to support aerial and underground fiber-construction projects in Alpine, TX. This role is vital to ensuring safe and efficient job-site operations by operating heavy equipment, assisting field crews, and performing routine equipment checks.
The day-to-day involves operating machinery such as excavators, backhoes, trenchers, skid steers, and rock saws to perform excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation. You will work outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions, often traveling to job sites that may require overnight out-of-town assignments. The position demands a strong commitment to safety, including following all procedures and maintaining awareness of underground and overhead utilities.
