About the Role
We are seeking an Equipment Operator to support aerial and underground fiber-construction projects in Florence, TX. This role is vital for ensuring safe and efficient job-site operations while operating heavy equipment and assisting field crews. The day-to-day involves performing excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site preparation, alongside completing routine equipment checks and maintenance reporting.
This position requires working outdoors in all weather and terrain conditions. The role includes travel to various job sites, which may involve overnight out-of-town assignments and overtime as project needs dictate. Success in this role depends on a strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and a commitment to adhering to strict safety procedures and utility-location awareness.
