As an Engineering Senior Specialist - Customer Application for Steam Turbine & Expander, you will lead projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact for Baker Hughes IET at the Center of Excellence and regional levels. This role is designed for those who thrive on solving complex technical challenges and shaping customer-focused solutions for turbomachinery applications.
You will drive the technical direction of customer solutions, ensuring that every proposal reflects the highest standards of engineering excellence and commercial competitiveness. You will partner closely with Sales, Commercial Operations, Engineering, and product leadership to define optimal configurations and tailor solutions to industry standards. Your work will support strategic opportunities across Oil & Gas, industrial, geothermal, and energy-transition markets.
In this position, you will act as the technical reference point for the country for the complete GTE product portfolio. You will lead complex application-engineering activities, optimizing steam cycles, evaluating competitive systems, and guiding customers toward the most effective technical choices. By building strong relationships and influencing decision-making, you will contribute to long-term business strategy while promoting a culture of technical rigor, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
