About the Role
This position serves as a vital technical bridge between engineering, production, and cross-functional teams like marketing and purchasing. The role exists to ensure manufacturing processes, methods, and systems are continuously researched, developed, and improved to meet rigorous quality and performance standards.
You will act as a hands-on problem solver within the assembly area, reviewing manufacturing instructions for clarity and participating in the evaluation of equipment upgrades. Your day-to-day involves troubleshooting quality and efficiency issues on the line, facilitating corrections for out-of-specification conditions, and weighing in on situations requiring technical assistance. Working with directional input and periodic guidance, you will help implement preventive and corrective actions to reduce scrap and downtime while exploring new technologies to enhance operations.
