About the Role

As a Materials Process Engineer within Technology Operations, you will serve as a critical link between product design and commercial manufacturing. Your mission is to enhance manufacturing process flows by applying lean manufacturing principles, ensuring that quality, cost, and efficiency targets are consistently met. You will be responsible for transforming small-scale processes into commercially viable large-scale operations, troubleshooting production challenges, and recommending the most appropriate material and manufacturing strategies for specific applications.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with a development and fabrication team to create fixtures, tooling, and shop floor improvements. Your day-to-day involves monitoring process efficiency and safety through data collection and analysis, while also supporting the conversion of prototypes into mass production. You will work directly with production staff to understand material specifications, estimate job costs, and maintain standard operating procedures that drive operational excellence.
