The Software & Controls - Engineering Business Operations Quality and Lean Leader serves as the strategic bridge between Gas Power Controls Engineering and the Software and Controls Solutions (SCS) Business Line. This role is designed to ensure that engineering execution, operational priorities, and improvement initiatives are fully aligned to deliver performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC).
Operating at the intersection of Engineering, Business Line leadership, and enterprise initiatives, this leader partners closely with functional teams and embedded Lean and Quality organizations to remove barriers and accelerate execution. The position provides a unique opportunity to drive the deployment of GE Vernova's Lean Operating Method—including MOR alignment, Hoshin Kanri, Daily Management, and Kaizen—strengthening operational rigor and performance transparency across the global energy portfolio.
This role integrates improvement roadmaps across Engineering organizations supporting the value stream, ensuring Lean, Quality, reliability, and operational initiatives are executed in a coordinated manner. The leader will work within the broader "Win, Design, Buy, Build, and Execute" workstream, representing Engineering in Business Line operating cadences to ensure performance, risks, and improvement priorities are visible and addressed.
