This position serves as a critical extension of the engineering team, bridging the gap between conceptual design and field execution for utility-scale Solar and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role is designed for an experienced engineer who can navigate the full project lifecycle—from exploration and scope definition to final delivery—ensuring that all solutions meet rigorous safety standards, regulatory compliance, and long-term performance goals.
You will operate with increasing independence, managing complex engineering assignments that require expertise across multiple disciplines including electrical, mechanical, civil, and MOV valve engineering. The core mission is to deliver best-in-class energy storage solutions by leading technical teams, resolving design inconsistencies, and collaborating with cross-functional groups to integrate major equipment and controls.
Your work will span the entire spectrum of project management and technical oversight. You will plan and organize engineering projects, balancing cost, reliability, and performance objectives while monitoring progress and identifying potential risks. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to technical analysis, such as reviewing engineering drawings, performing safe shutdown analyses, and conducting computational studies using tools like ETAP and EDISON.
You will act as a key liaison between engineering, procurement, and project management, influencing priorities and negotiating technical scopes of work with suppliers. Whether addressing legal or regulatory challenges during permitting or troubleshooting complex power electronics issues, your goal is to ensure engineering best practices are followed from inception to completion. This role requires a blend of deep technical knowledge and strong leadership to guide teams through fast-paced project environments.
Candidates should submit their resume highlighting their experience in leading engineering teams for major energy infrastructure projects. Please ensure your application details your specific expertise in power systems, battery storage design, or related disciplines.
