The Engineer II, Cloud & Web Systems Software is a pivotal member of Masimo's engineering team, dedicated to designing and building the cloud-based and web-enabled software solutions that power our connected platforms and digital health technologies. This role exists to bridge the gap between complex medical device ecosystems and modern enterprise software, ensuring data connectivity, visualization, and analytics are delivered securely and reliably across web, mobile, and device environments.
You will work in a fast-paced, regulated environment where your code directly impacts patient care and operational efficiency. The day-to-day involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including systems engineering, cybersecurity, quality, regulatory, and product—to deliver high-quality software that meets strict compliance standards. From architecting scalable backend services to refining user interactions, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of software development, from initial design and coding to verification, validation, and release.
This is an onsite position located at our Irvine, CA office. The role requires frequent interaction with cross-functional teams and may involve standing for extended periods during meetings or facility walkthroughs. The environment is designed to support both focused individual work and collaborative engineering efforts, with daily use of computers and digital devices being essential.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a structured interview process designed to assess technical proficiency, cultural fit, and alignment with our regulated industry standards. While specific steps may vary, the process typically includes an initial screening, technical deep-dives, and discussions with team members to ensure a strong match for our engineering culture.

We consider qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic.
