We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Scientist to support a large Federal agency by delivering advanced analytics and business intelligence. In this role, you will play a critical part in optimizing contact center and field office operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in machine learning and data architecture, paired with extensive experience extracting actionable insights from complex workforce management and customer interaction data.
You will partner with the customer to understand their unique problems and constraints, digging into their data-rich environment to piece together information puzzles. Your day will involve creating and implementing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models to drive operational impact and optimize workforce management. You will utilize statistical analysis, unsupervised/supervised machine learning, and deep learning to solve complex challenges, designing robust analytic pipelines to turn raw data into objective answers for agency leadership.
Collaboration is key; you will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams across the organization to design and execute technical studies. You will effectively communicate principled conclusions from data using mathematics, statistics, and application-specific knowledge, clearly presenting findings, novel insights, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
