About the Role

As an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) at CHI Lisbon Health, you will serve as a frontline hero in the community's urgent care needs. This role exists to provide the foundation of the local emergency response in a rural critical access hospital setting. You will be at the heart of the emergency department, delivering immediate, high-stakes care where your experience and judgment are absolutely crucial.

In this position, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy, backed by a supportive team of physicians (often remote but always accessible), nurses, and first responders. You will assess, diagnose, and treat a diverse range of emergency conditions for patients of all ages, from children to geriatrics. Unlike urban settings, this environment offers a breadth of experience and the opportunity to hone a wide range of emergency medical skills in a setting that truly relies on multi-faceted providers.
