As the Elementary Principal, you will serve as the strategic leader for your assigned campus, reporting directly to the Area Superintendent. Your mission is to foster a culture of academic excellence, equity, and student success by guiding instructional practices, managing personnel and resources, and strengthening school-community partnerships. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment that meets the diverse needs of all students.
This role is a cornerstone of the district's educational delivery, requiring a balance of instructional leadership, operational management, and community engagement. You will work closely with the Campus Leadership Team (CLT), teachers, and staff to develop and evaluate educational programs, ensuring compliance with state and school board curriculum standards. Your day-to-day involves monitoring student performance, analyzing data to facilitate school improvement, and managing the campus budget and facility operations.
The appointment of this position is a collaborative process between district leadership and the governing board. The Superintendent of Schools will recommend the appointment of the successful candidate to the Board of Trustees based on the applicant's training, experience, and expertise. Final approval for the appointment rests with the Board of Trustees.
