As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be the backbone of our production operations, responsible for repairing and installing advanced manufacturing equipment. Your mission is to ensure continuous operational efficiency by inspecting equipment for proper functioning and executing preventative maintenance duties strictly per manufacturer specifications. You will diagnose complex malfunctions, perform intricate repairs, and potentially mentor less experienced mechanics to elevate the team's overall capability.
This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of our production lines. You will work independently under limited supervision, managing your own schedule and tasks while overseeing the activities of outside contractors. A key part of your day involves upgrading production lines with new technology, managing package changeovers, and enforcing strict GMP, safety, and audit standards. You will also be responsible for documenting all work tasks and schedules to maintain accurate operational records.
Please note that this position involves continuous work in an environment with heat, noise, gas, and chemicals. The physical demands are significant, requiring frequent lifting, climbing, standing, walking, crouching, squatting, bending, and kneeling. The role may also require weekend and/or holiday work to support production needs. Candidates must possess their own hand tools to perform these duties effectively.
To begin your journey with us, please view our Maintenance Mechanic Job Preview Video by clicking the link provided in the original posting. The selection process includes a technical assessment designed to address job-critical maintenance knowledge areas. Successful candidates will be evaluated on their ability to read product manuals, interpret schematics, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns.
