About the Position

Pond is seeking an Electrical Engineer III to join our growing Energy team. This role supports a diverse portfolio of projects primarily focused on oil & gas and aviation fueling systems (military and commercial), with additional opportunities to contribute to renewable energy and utility projects.

The successful candidate will be a strong individual contributor within Pond's Energy electrical team, supporting multidisciplinary projects across the planning, design, and construction phases. This position is well-suited for an engineer with 6-9 years of experience who is capable of executing electrical design tasks independently, contributing to technical problem-solving, and growing toward increased technical leadership.

Compensation & Benefits

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.

Key Responsibilities

  • check_circleSupport electrical design for fuel terminals, LNG facilities, oil & gas systems, and aviation fueling systems
  • check_circlePerform electrical calculations including load flow, short circuit, coordination, arc flash, and voltage drop
  • check_circlePrepare electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and design narratives for project deliverables
  • check_circleCoordinate electrical scope with mechanical, civil, structural, and instrumentation disciplines
  • check_circleSupport construction activities including RFIs, site visits, field verifications, and commissioning
  • check_circleReview vendor submittals and packaged equipment under supervision of senior staff
  • check_circleMentor junior engineers and designers while providing technical input to CAD designers
  • check_circleDevelop low- and medium-voltage power distribution, grounding, lighting, motor control, and standby power systems

Requirements
