Our Electrical Distribution Planning team oversees the planning, analysis, and modernization of a growing electric distribution system serving over 500,000 customers.
Shape the future of Colorado Springs' electric grid as a Level Three Engineer. In this hybrid role, you will make a visible impact by solving complex system and planning challenges while collaborating with experts across other engineering functions. You will contribute to near-term and long-range distribution planning initiatives for our 12.5kV and 34.5kV systems, utilizing advanced modeling and forecasting tools to drive grid modernization, electrification, EV readiness, and distributed energy resource (DER) integration.
This position offers a unique opportunity to grow beyond the current level, working on high-impact projects that directly shape grid reliability. You will partner with experienced engineers to develop system improvement alternatives, maintain critical system models, and influence engineering standards to reflect evolving grid needs.
