About the Role
The Directional Driller is the backbone of our underground infrastructure projects, operating horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment to install fiber optic and conduit systems safely and efficiently. This role is designed for those who thrive in a hands-on environment where precision and safety are paramount. You will be responsible for the entire drilling lifecycle, from interpreting utility maps and blueprints to executing complex bore plans, pilot drilling, reaming, and product pullback operations.
Day-to-day, you will collaborate closely with locators, crew members, and project managers to ensure every installation meets strict specifications. This position requires a strong focus on detail and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues in the field. It is an ideal opportunity for individuals with a background in telecommunications or utility construction who are eager to travel to various project sites, including overnight stays, to help connect communities to high-speed internet.

Requirements
