About the Opportunity
A leading company in the food, beverage, and dietary supplement industry is seeking a Documentation Specialist to support its Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs team. This is a 3-month contract role designed to cover a maternity leave, offering a focused opportunity to ensure the accuracy and compliance of critical supply chain documentation.
About the Role
In this position, you will serve as a vital link between suppliers, co-packers, and internal cross-functional teams. Your primary mission is to maintain and manage Quality and Regulatory documentation, ensuring that finished goods and raw material records are accurate, current, and compliant with industry standards.
You will work closely with Operations and Sales to support new product innovation and provide necessary documentation as needed. The role requires a high level of attention to detail to manage heavy documentation workflows, including reviewing, drafting, and publishing Certificates of Analysis (COAs), Certificates of Conformance, audit certificates, and specification sheets. You will also play a key role in supporting document control and change control processes, as well as assisting in the development of SOPs and work instructions.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role based in El Segundo, CA. You will be expected to work onsite at the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while managing remote work on other days. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $30–$35.
