CACI is seeking a full-time Document Management Technician to support the U.S. Attorney's Office in Cheyenne, Wyoming. This role is critical to the immediate operational needs of the district, serving as the primary point of contact for visitors, telephone inquiries, and the intake of legal documents. The position operates within a high-stakes environment where accuracy and discretion are paramount, supporting the broader mission of ensuring the safety of the nation through effective litigation support.
The selected candidate will work 40 hours per week as a regular employee. The initial period of performance begins on the date of award, with three one-year options available. While the role is primarily based in the Cheyenne office, overtime and travel may be authorized as needed to facilitate courier services to courthouses and other federal or state agencies.
In this capacity, you will be the face of the office, managing access control to ensure only properly cleared individuals enter the facility. Your day will involve handling citizen complaints, directing inquiries to appropriate agencies, and maintaining up-to-date telephone directories and contact lists. You will serve as the hub for incoming mail and service of process, ensuring hand-delivered packages, FedEx, UPS, and faxes are immediately routed to the correct staff members.
Beyond administrative duties, you will play a key support role in legal operations. This includes receiving and organizing legal documents such as Civil Rights complaints, assisting legal support staff with document redactions and binder preparation, and inputting accurate data into the electronic case management system within one business day of receipt. You will also manage office logistics, including reserving conference rooms, ordering supplies, and collecting mileage logs for reimbursement.
At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do. As a valued team member, you will join a high-performing group driven by a higher purpose. We foster a culture of integrity and an environment of trust, valuing the unique contributions every employee brings to our customers. You will have the autonomy to take the time you need through a unique flexible time off benefit and access to robust learning resources to help you achieve your ambitions.
We are focused on continuous growth, working together to advance the nation's most critical missions and finding opportunities to break new ground in your career and our legacy. Our employees value the flexibility that allows them to balance quality work with their personal lives, supported by a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, wellness, financial, retirement, and family support options.
