This position serves as the Bureau of Monitoring and Quality Improvement North Region Monitoring Supervisor. You will be responsible for overseeing regional monitors in the North Region, assessing the performance of services provided to Department youth in both provider-operated programs and state-operated facilities. The role involves developing annual compliance and supplemental monitoring schedules, assigning monitors to conduct reviews, and ensuring all applicable programs receive at least one annual compliance review.
You will play a critical leadership role by supervising, motivating, training, and evaluating staff, as well as managing the hiring and orientation of new employees. A key part of your day will involve reviewing and editing compliance reports to ensure accuracy and timely completion, while also consulting with the Prioritization and Planning unit to determine monitoring requirements. You will also provide training and consultation to Department staff regarding monitoring services.
Travel Requirement: Due to the nature of the work, overnight travel is required. Travel may occur with little to no notice at the discretion of management.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, four years of professional experience, two or more years of supervisory experience, two or more years of experience in detention, prevention, probation, residential, or other human services fields, three or more years of contract monitoring, contract management, and/or contract procurement experience, and previous audit or monitoring experience.
