About the Role
As a Retail Operations Manager, you will lead a team of 100+ hourly merchandising associates across 200+ retail locations. This role exists to ensure quality project execution for key merchandising initiatives, including category resets, new item cut-ins, product stocking, and data collection.\n You will spend your days traveling to job worksites to engage directly with clients and employees, fostering interactive working relationships that drive execution excellence. The position requires a flexible approach to handle routine business spikes while managing district costs and staffing to meet client project requirements. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleMaintain 95%+ on-time execution rate for all assigned merchandising projects
- check_circleFoster interactive working relationships with retailers and client personnel
- check_circlePlan and organize staffing to meet client project requirements
- check_circleManage district costs including drivetime, mileage, and overtime expenses
- check_circleTravel daily or weekly to job worksites to engage with clients and employees
- check_circleHandle employee relations matters while partnering with Human Resources
- check_circleTrain, coach, manage, and mentor hourly employees within the market area
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in marketing, management, or related field preferred or equivalent supervisory/management experience
- verified1–2 years of retail or field operations experience
- verifiedFirm understanding of Retail and/or Retail Merchandising practices
- verifiedIntermediate skill level in web-based reporting, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
- verifiedValid driver's license
