Key Responsibilities
- check_circleMentor and develop a team of accounting professionals
- check_circleLead research for technical accounting matters relating to material transactions
- check_circleOversee implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory compliance
- check_circleDevelop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- check_circleProvide technical guidance to finance teams on complex accounting issues
- check_circleOversee preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- check_circleCollaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits
Requirements
- verifiedMinimum of 7 years in accounting and financial reporting
- verifiedAt least 5+ years in a management/supervisory role over accounting professionals
- verifiedCurrent CPA required
- verifiedExtensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
