About the Role
As the Director of Accounting & Tax Services, you will lead service delivery for a team of 8–10 professionals. This role exists to ensure technical excellence and operational efficiency for our diverse client portfolio. You will serve as the primary technical escalation point, exercising independent professional judgment to manage risk and solve complex client issues. Your day will involve reviewing and signing federal and state tax returns and monthly financial statements, while also overseeing the team's capacity planning and workflow to eliminate bottlenecks. You will be the steady presence that guides Managers, Seniors, and Staff through the demands of the close and tax seasons, ensuring deadlines are met with consistency.
