About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Controller, CPA to lead our accounting function and own the preparation and integrity of the company's GAAP financial statements. As a key member of our finance leadership team, you will bring energy, initiative, and integrity to your work while supporting both our clients and colleagues through strong financial stewardship.

In this role, you will partner with our leadership team to identify and manage technical accounting and financial reporting opportunities. You will serve as the primary authority on GAAP, accounting policy, and technical accounting matters, researching and implementing treatment for complex transactions. Beyond technical expertise, you will cultivate a positive team culture, mentor staff, and create development opportunities for others. You will also drive continuous improvement in accounting workflows, ensuring our systems and processes support our scalable growth.

check_circlePrepare and ensure integrity of GAAP financial statements in compliance with SEC requirements

check_circleManage the accounting system of record (NetSuite) and ensure data integrity across integrations
check_circlePartner with the CFO and leadership to identify technical accounting opportunities and strategic implications
check_circleLead external audits, reviews, and examinations while managing relationships with auditors and tax advisors
check_circleImplement accounting pronouncement transitions such as lease accounting, revenue recognition, and CECL
check_circleDesign, implement, and maintain effective internal controls to mitigate financial and operational risks
check_circleServe as primary authority on GAAP, researching and documenting treatment for complex transactions
check_circleCoordinate with tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of income, sales, and payroll taxes

Requirements

verifiedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
