As the Director of Surgical Services, you will serve as a vital member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team where your expertise is valued. You will have direct oversight of the entire surgical services line, including the Operating Room, Endoscopy, Perioperative and Postoperative Care, Ambulatory Surgery, Interventional Radiology, Diagnostic Cath Lab, and Sterile Processing. Additionally, you will oversee the 15-bed Inpatient Orthopedic and Spine unit.
In this strategic role, you will act as a key liaison between the medical staff, patients, senior leadership, nursing staff, and other disciplines. Your focus will be on providing outstanding patient service, growing the service line, developing leadership, and managing resources. You will be responsible for maintaining strong physician and administration relationships while ensuring standards of care align with best practices. Your work will sustain a culture of safety, quality, service excellence, professionalism, personnel development, and team collaboration that supports the Middlesex Health Mission and the Department of Nursing vision.
