The Director of Food & Beverage serves as the strategic leader for all property food and beverage operations at Southernmost Beach Resort. This role is designed to coordinate, supervise, and direct operations while maintaining a profitable department and the highest quality products and service levels. You will be expected to market ideas to promote business, reduce employee turnover, and manage revenue and payroll budgets while meeting productivity goals.
In this position, you will drive financial performance through budgeting, forecasting, cost control, menu engineering, and revenue optimization. Your day-to-day presence will be strong within the operation, supporting teams, resolving issues, and ensuring smooth execution across the large, spread-out property. You will partner with culinary, sales, and marketing teams to enhance the guest experience, develop programming, and execute events and banquets. Additionally, you will oversee supply chain and inventory planning, proactively managing the logistical challenges unique to island operations.
Southernmost Beach Resort is located in historic Old Town, expanding over 6 acres on a serene part of the island with Atlantic Ocean front views. The resort features gorgeous Key West architecture and all the amenities you desire in a beach resort. Just a short walk or bike ride from Key West's boutique shops, art galleries, eclectic restaurants, and non-stop nightlife, the resort spans over two city blocks and offers guest rooms that are located within easy reach of both the beach and world-famous Duval Street.
