About the Role
The Director of Production serves as the operational backbone for Blue Heron's design-build projects, ensuring exceptional execution from design through permitting and construction. This role is dedicated to driving operational efficiency, optimizing internal processes for speed and clarity, and championing the continuous evolution of BIM, Revit, and documentation standards.
You will lead the production and QA/QC teams to deliver drawing accuracy, design intent clarity, and constructible solutions. By integrating AI-driven tools and best practices, you will support Blue Heron's vision of creating the future of Home. The position requires balancing workloads across teams to meet deadlines while maintaining rigorous quality standards that reduce RFIs, construction issues, and rework.

Requirements
- verifiedProfessional degree in Architecture or related field
- verifiedLicensed Architect preferred
- verified10+ years of architectural experience
- verified5+ years focused on residential construction documentation
- verifiedStrong understanding of local and federal building codes, NFPA, and ADA requirements
- verifiedFamiliarity with permit processes in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Clark County Building Department preferred
- verifiedProficient in Revit
- verifiedExperience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar CAD/BIM programs
- verifiedComfortable with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam
- verifiedFamiliarity with BIM 360 or similar collaborative model management platforms
Nice to Have
Licensed Architect. Familiarity with permit processes in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Henderson, and Clark County Building Department (CCBD).
