The Office of the Registrar serves as the official authorized keeper of Frontier Nursing University's student records, ensuring the equitable and consistent administration of academic policies. This leadership position provides oversight for all student records and registration activities, acting as a critical guardian of compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other regulatory agencies.
Reporting directly to the Dean of Student Success, the Registrar supervises staff, serves on standing committees, and aligns departmental goals with the university's strategic priorities. You will manage the institution's course registration process, from coordinating prerequisites to maintaining institutional records. A significant portion of your time will be dedicated to the integrity of student data—collecting, analyzing, and reporting grades, transcripts, and transfer credits while strictly adhering to FERPA guidelines. You will also oversee the publication of the student catalog, program of study, and the academic calendar.
Beyond data management, you will serve as a key partner to administrators and faculty, resolving student disputes regarding records and registration, and taking appropriate action on matters such as honor code violations. The role involves evaluating eligibility for state and national licensure examinations, certifying degree completion, and producing diplomas. You will also participate in commencement activities and engage in professional development to support the university's shared governance and service to the profession.
