About the Role

The Director of Business Development is a strategic leader dedicated to driving revenue growth and forging high-impact partnerships within the pharmaceutical sector. This role exists to shape MedPharm's market positioning by identifying, cultivating, and securing new business opportunities across the spectrum of drug development and commercial manufacturing. Operating with a high degree of independence, the Director serves as the bridge between the company's capabilities and the complex needs of clients, ensuring that growth strategies are both cost-effective and aligned with the organization's long-term vision.

In this position, you will be the face of MedPharm at industry events, trade shows, and conferences, actively engaging with key decision-makers to foster trust and expand our network. The day-to-day involves orchestrating the end-to-end sales cycle, from managing complex RFP processes and proposal development to leading high-stakes contract negotiations. You will collaborate closely with proposal writers, technical teams, project managers, and quality departments to ensure that every client interaction and presentation accurately reflects the company's expertise while maintaining rigorous standards of quality and efficiency.
