About the Role
This Program Supervisor role is designed to bridge the gap between direct care and program management. You will supervise a single program or unit, typically supporting 4-8 individuals in residential settings or 10-15 in vocational or day programs. The position is unique in its hybrid nature: you will split your time between a supervisory capacity (8-16 hours per week) and providing direct support for the remaining hours.
In this role, you are the operational heartbeat of the program. You will oversee day-to-day activities, ensuring the delivery of supports, the implementation of person-centered plans, and strict adherence to regulatory compliance. Your day involves managing health care needs, advocating for individuals, maintaining a safe physical environment, and fostering productive relationships with families and stakeholders. You will also guide the team by assisting with recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations, ensuring that every Direct Support Professional is equipped to deliver high-quality care.
