You will join a mission-driven team dedicated to the belief that every person deserves to live well and have a fulfilling career. In this role, you will create meaningful relationships that motivate us all every day. You will provide direct support within a residential setting, typically assisting 4 to 6 individuals, or up to 10 in periodic programs. Your day will involve partnering with individuals to achieve their goals through socialization, health maintenance, and skill development. From assisting with daily activities like personal care and housekeeping to facilitating community integration and transportation, you will be the backbone of their daily routine. You will also manage individual assets, maintain accurate records, and ensure a safe, supportive environment that respects the rights and dignity of those you serve.
Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license in good standing. All employees are required to undergo criminal background checks, including checks against the Central Registry of Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities and the Child Abuse Registry Information (CARI). Additionally, all new hires must submit to drug testing prior to employment and agree to random and for-cause testing thereafter. Successful candidates must complete all state-mandated training and certifications within the required timeframes.
