About the Role
The Director of Dining Services is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, entrepreneurial manager who is constantly seeking a better way to conduct business. This key leadership position is directly responsible for the successful operation of Dining Services. You will ensure client and customer satisfaction through efficient, cost-effective management that meets and exceeds stated expectations.
In this role, you will oversee all foodservice-related activities, including retail, cafeteria, and catering operations. You will drive quality improvement, sanitation, and infection control while managing all client-related interactions. As a leader, you will manage salaried managers and hourly associates, overseeing the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account. Your day-to-day will involve interviewing and training associates, planning and directing work, appraising performance, and resolving problems to foster a high-performing team.
