About the Role
The Dietary Worker serves as a vital liaison between patients, clinical staff, and the Food & Nutrition team, providing patient support via phone and software systems. In this fast-paced, performance-based call center environment, you will manage patient meal services, ensuring every interaction reflects a friendly, efficient, and positive demeanor.
Your day involves answering patient calls, taking menu orders, and addressing questions regarding nutritional needs. You will utilize specialized software to record orders accurately, relying on a general knowledge of therapeutic diets to ensure patient nutrition aligns with medical requirements. Success in this role requires the ability to stay calm under pressure, adapt to changing customer needs, and maintain the privacy, safety, and dignity of every patient while adhering to strict safety and sanitation standards.
