Conveniently located in Waimea on the west side of the beautiful Garden Island, Kauai Care Center is a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility that embodies the Aloha Spirit. Our staff, residents, and their loved ones are ohana (family). We collaborate with residents, their families, and medical providers to bring harmony and balance to residents' lives, developing personalized plans that promote faster recovery so our residents can return home sooner.

About the Role

As a dietary aide, you will play a vital role in supporting the recovery and well-being of our senior residents. You will prepare food, fill requests, and ensure a home-like environment that promotes dignity, privacy, and independence. This position requires a compassionate individual who is interested in working with the senior population and can maintain a clean, neat, and safe demeanor.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include ensuring condiment and beverage containers are clean and filled, assisting with food preparation, plating meals, and washing and sanitizing dishes. You will also be expected to relate and communicate appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers, and other employees while maintaining strict infection control standards.

Hiring Process

Candidates must be available for a weekend rotation. Please note that a Food Handler's card is required to obtain this position.
