As a Diesel Mechanic at XPO, you will be the backbone of our fleet's reliability. You will also interact regularly with operations and shop management to coordinate repairs and maintain productivity.
The environment is dynamic and physical. You will frequently lift up to 50 lbs. (occasionally more), stand for extended periods on various surfaces, and work outdoors in inclement weather. You may also be required to move trailers throughout the property, operating a hostler in all weather conditions. This is a Motor Carrier Act Exempt position with a Monday–Friday operation schedule, though availability for a variety of shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends, is required.
We offer a competitive package designed to support your career and well-being. Experienced technicians can earn up to $39.11/hour, including Master Certification pay. We provide full health insurance benefits starting on day one, along with life and disability insurance. You will earn up to 13 days of PTO over your first year, with accruals beginning immediately, plus 9 paid company holidays. Additional perks include a 401(k) option with a company match, education assistance, company-provided uniforms, and a $400 tool allowance per quarter.
To apply, please submit your resume and relevant certifications. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license and basic welding skills (Oxy/Acetylene, MIG, and ARC).
