As a Technician II Tractor, you will be the backbone of our fleet's reliability. Your primary mission is to ensure our tractors are safe, efficient, and ready for the road. You will diagnose and repair complex mechanical systems, including transmissions, engines, electrical components, suspensions, and air systems. Beyond repairs, you will perform critical DOT inspections, open seat inspections to prepare tractors for the next driver, and 90-day lease operator inspections.
Your day involves using diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues, performing preventative maintenance on brakes, tires, and fluids, and ensuring the work area remains clean and organized. You will also drive trucks in and out of the shop to facilitate repairs and complete all necessary documentation accurately and in a timely fashion. This role requires a high level of productivity and the ability to work within specific shift times to keep our operations moving.
