Dialysis Clinic, Inc. (DCI) is the nation's largest nonprofit dialysis provider, with over 270 locations across 30 states serving nearly 14,000 patients daily. Since opening our first clinic in Nashville 50 years ago, our mission has remained steadfast: "the care of the patient is our reason for existence." We are dedicated to a holistic approach, offering hemodialysis, home dialysis, and peritoneal dialysis options to empower patients to live meaningful lives while reducing hospitalizations. DCI invests heavily in its care teams and funds research to advance kidney care treatment options.
The Dialysis Nurse Educator (RN) serves as a vital bridge between clinical excellence and staff development. In this role, you will provide initial and ongoing professional training to facility staff across our clinics in Waterville, Skowhegan, Belfast, and Augusta. You will work within a positive, mission-driven culture that prioritizes individualized patient care and offers a lower caregiver-to-patient ratio than other providers.
Your day will involve leading classroom theory training for new staff, verifying competencies, and overseeing the preceptor program. You will collaborate with the corporate clinical team, medical directors, and clinic managers to develop unit-specific policies and ensure regulatory compliance. This position is designed for motivated, compassionate individuals who thrive on building relationships and fostering a culture of continuous learning and safety.
