UPMC Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is dedicated to advancing patient care through specialized medical services. This role supports the team at the Passavant Professional Building and the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex in Cranberry, ensuring seamless diagnostic imaging for orthopaedic needs.
About the Role
We are seeking a Flex-Full Time Diagnostic Technologist to join our team in a Monday through Friday daylight position, with no evening or weekend hours required. This role is designed for a professional who can operate with independent judgment, applying ingenuity and initiative to perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and effectively.
You will serve as a key member of the care team, responsible for a variety of technical procedures including X-rays, patient rooming, vitals, and charting. A unique aspect of this position involves travel between the Passavant Professional Building and the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. You will be expected to interact with patients and colleagues with a high level of caring, dignity, and respect, ensuring clear communication to help allay patient fears and facilitate efficient care.
