About the Role
We are in urgent need of a Radiologic Technologist to join our team for a full-time traveler assignment at the correctional facility in Represa, CA. This role is critical for maintaining diagnostic imaging operations within the institution.
You will work under the direction of the Institution's CEO/CME or designee, serving as a key member of the Diagnostic Imaging department. Your day-to-day involves developing and processing X-ray exposures, utilizing proper techniques for ordered exams, and assisting medical providers with special procedures such as routine fluoroscopy, drainage procedures, and biopsies. You will also be responsible for reviewing digital X-ray images for clarity and positioning, responding to emergency room and bedside examinations, and providing emergency medical support when necessary.
