About the Role
The primary responsibility of the X-Ray Tech is to obtain useful diagnostic details that help doctors decide on further treatment for patients. You will prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams and produce x-ray films of parts of the human body to assist in diagnosing medical problems such as cancer or fractures. A key part of the role involves instructing patients on appropriate positioning to ensure accurate images while delivering quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
You will work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence that is patient-focused, providing timely and compassionate care. Additionally, you will promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations.
